GLAMPING not camping

Yes you read correctly. It's not just a typo, I said HAPPY GLAMPING!

Glamping is the latest trend. It's all about families having a "staycation" at those stylish campsites where you just turn up and there’s a retro tent or caravan with a full-size bed, carpets and even a fridge all laid on for you. No bugs or hard floors to sleep on.

Perfect for mami!

See, Sudocrem, you know the stuff that goes on your bottom want to hear from Happy Glampers to find the UK's favourite Glampsite.

Used by millions of mami's and papi's everyday; Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream is an everyday household hero.

It’s ideal for holiday first-aid kits because it can be used to treat cuts and grazes, soothe sunburn, minor burns, skin irritation and of course, nappy rash.

So if  you are the kind of person who likes the idea of sleeping under the stars, cooking over an open fire and enjoying a taste of the outdoors but also likes the comforts of home then Glamping if for you!

You might have happy memories of childhood holidays under canvas and want your children to do the same; but with your busy lifestyle the thought of assembling all the equipment for a camping holiday leaves you cold.

Happy Glampers can enjoy staying in luxury tents, teepees, yurts, gypsy caravans and retro caravans. You can wake up every morning with the countryside on your doorstep, but without the hassle of having to put a tent up or tow a caravan along a winding country lane.

So get nominating and one lucky person will be picked at random to win a pair of Hunter wellington boots. They are perfect for those muddy afternoons in the park!

Mami is getting a pair of red ones because that is her favourite colour.

How to enter:
All you have to do is send in your nomination of your favourite UK Glampsite to sudocrem@forest-labs.co.uk and include Happing Glamping in the subject line.

Just let them know that Little M from Mummy's Busy World sent you!

Week-end a la mer!

A few weeks ago I went to the beach for the first time. I jumped up and down in the waves and I played in the sand all day long!

It was definitely a "week-end a la mer" as the French say!

We have also been working with Nicole from Half-Pint Chic. She started an exclusive members only club selling designer children's and babies clothes at a fraction of the original price.

They only deal with the brands directly so they can guarantee that everything they sell is 100% authentic.

As you may have guessed, the latest sale on at the moment is the from the French fashion label Week-end a la mer. They have a lot of nautical themed clothing and lots and lots of stripes!

Check out my blue and white striped hoodie and my blue trousers with flags on them.

Willy Trousers £12 originally £26.99
Julio Jacket Striped hoodie £12.99 originally £28.99

See the flags on my back pocket and the fishes on  the hoodie?

This specific sales ends tomorrow, Saturday the 7th of May at 10am. But there are exclusive sales on every week. All you have to do is register to become a  member in order to view the products and purchase from them.

I was also sent the light blue Optimist rain coat with sailboats on the back - papi loves that!

He likes anything to do with boats and sailing.

Optimist Rain Jacket £14.99 originally £33.00

Once you have signed up, each week Half-Pint Chic will send you an email highlighting the brand on offer and the start and close times of the sale.

So go over have a look and at the very least sign up to see what great offer comes your way or follow Nicole on twitter @halfpintchic

Now if I could just get back to the beach. The sandbox at the park is just not doing it for me!

Not so secret admirer

Other than your family and friends, do you know who reads your blog?

If you are like us then you have some idea with analytics telling you where people are viewing from, right down to what country, city, referring site, network domain, network location and even what type of computer and mobile device.

Pretty amazing, right?

Well given that information mixed with some common sense mami has figured out that a certain someone in her office has been keeping up with our blog and liking what I write.

Awww thanks.

They may not be our typical reader, but they check in on a regular basis, daily even. Nice!

I'm guessing they will never admit to it, and that's okay. The important thing is that we know that you are reading us.

So on this Friday morning mami and I are waving hello to you and to a few other not so secret admirers we have discovered.

Enjoy the weekend and make sure to check back on Monday.

Bye for now!

Thank you for NOT cutting my hair

I would like to take this moment to say gracias to mami for NOT cutting my hair again and instead taking me to papi's barber shop.

They did a much better job AND I got a lollipop.

Sorry mami!

I want to Visit Orlando!

A few weeks ago mami got to meet the team from Visit Orlando.

They were visiting the UK to talk about the launch of their new website that helps families plan their vacations, or should I say holiday to Orlando which is in Florida which is in the United States (just in case you didn't know).

The online tool is all about creating the perfect family holiday. Mami wasn't completely convinced because she didn't think that a theme park was appropriate for a 2 year old.

WHAT? Why not mami?! Thankfully, Susan and The Travel Mom herself Emily Kaufman convinced her otherwise.

On the Trip Ideas page she was able to put in information about us and it would give us suggestions. Based on my age over 20 suggestions came up - one of them was SeaWorld in Orlando and Gator Land...awesome!

She also got to speak with Dave who works with Mickey Mouse at Disney (how cool is that?) the girls from Universal Studios and SeaWorld.

Now, I don't know if mami is planning something or not, but after seeing all of the fun things we can do I sure hope she takes me!

I hear SeaWorld has HUGE fish that jump through hoops and do tricks. Now THAT I have to see!

If you have ever wanted to go to Orlando or are thinking of planning a trip, take a look at Visit Orlando site to get an idea of what you can expect.

The pictures are nice and all, but I want to experience the real thing!

A little BALANCE

I've heard mami talk about "botox' and something about people sticking needles into their face?!

OUUUUUCHHHHHHH! Why would anyone want to do that? I've had needles stuck into my arms and legs and let me tell you, IT HURTS!

I realise now it's a grown up thing because I've never heard any of my friends talk about it.

Anyway, I'm telling you this because mami was sent a new beauty range to try called BALANCE that helps get rid of the lines on her face and they call it "botox in a bottle" minus the needles of course.

One of the products from the range.
This one has snake venom in it!

I sat down with mami and here's what she had to say about it:

Mami, tell me what you have been trying?
It's a range of face creams and serums called BALANCE. Like you said it has been referred to as "botox in a bottle" and it helps gives us adults younger looking skin.

Is it true people stick needles in their faces?
Yes, they do. But this helps with wrinkles that adults get and helps smooth them out. You don't have any, so don't worry.

Oh good! So what is BALANCE made with?
Okay, don't be scared, but the Wrinkle Serum, which is my favourite has snake-like venom that helps reduce the lines on the face.

What? SNAKES?? Oh mami, what are you doing?
Ha ha, don't worry mi amor, it's okay. It is not really a snake. It is only a little bit but helps us mamas look nicer.

OK phewww! You scared me a little bit. So, then what do you think of it all?
It is actually very affordable!  I was impressed with the price because you can get the entire range for £29.99
(that includes the wrinkle serum, the wrinkle filler, the day cream, the night cream, and eye cream).

It comes with a routine to follow and if you are not happy they offer a 60 day guarantee. I have only been using it a short time, but they feel good and the skin feels firmer.

So you do have lines and wrinkles on your face?
Ummmm, well, yes I do. Quite a few. But don't tell everyone that. That's between you and me, off the record. Sometimes mami's need a little bit of help, that's all.

Ok mami, I won't (he he). So where can people buy the snake stuff that helps the lines on your face?
Well, you have to order it online through their website http://www.balancecosmetics.co.uk/. I have to say I am very happy with products so far and I am going to continue to use them. I even recommend it to abuelita (She really needs it!)

Well there you have it! I've known mami to do and try some crazy things in her life, but this has got to be one of the strangest.

But I still do love her.

Say hello to my sister, Little L!

It's been a very long time. My days as a blogger are over (at least I think they are?) — I'm now mami's sort of photographer (I...
