Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Virginia

Okay, so it's now December. I am about to turn three in January and since LAST Christmas lots of things have become more clear to me. I mean, mami and I can actually have a conversation.

FINALLY she understands me!

Anyway, I've discovered that I really like Christmas. No wait, I LOVE Christmas! When we were in Willliamsburg with my grandparents, we went to a place called Busch Gardens. It's a big theme park in Virginia with fast rides and games. I've never been in the summer, but since 2009 they started something new. Something magical especially for this time of year called, Christmas Town.

The park which is divided up by countries England, Germany, Italy and Ireland is decorated like Christmas with lots of lights, decorations and even snow!

We were invited to attend a special event this weekend, but since we were not able to make it, we went on our own. We, and by "we" I mean there were 11 of us total, went on the first night it opened on the 25th of December. For those in the UK, it's like the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. It's just amazing and gets you in the Christmas mood!

I managed to go on only one ride because there were mucha gente or lots of people as mami said and made me hold her hand very tight. The best part about the night was seeing a very special show, I couldn't believe when mami said that everyone from Sesame Street was going to be there. Yessssssss!

A Sesame Street Christmas is a 30 minute musical put on by Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert and the gang. I couldn't believe my eyes...they were actually there. Live on stage in front of me.

I rarely get star struck (okay, so I froze when I met Peppa Pig and George, but you get it) but it was a dream come true to see my amigo Elmo singing Jingle Bells and Cookie Monster and Big Bird dancing around.

Here's a little sneak peak at the show:

If you are in Virginia and near the Richmond/Norfolk/Williamsburg area we recommend you go to Christmas Town. The park will be open until the 31st of December. Tickets are $25 per person or $12.50 for pass holders and kids under 5 go free.

Other attractions and shows include:

Santa's Workshop
Polar Pathway
Mistletoe Marketplace
Deck the Halls musical number at Das Festhaus
Christmas markets for shopping
And not forgetting a long list of cool rides. Mami only went on the swings but she got scared of being up so high!

It really is the best time of the year, isn't it?!

Say hello to my sister, Little L!

It's been a very long time. My days as a blogger are over (at least I think they are?) — I'm now mami's sort of photographer (I...
