Well hello there 2012, we've been waiting for you...

Woooo hoooo! So happy the new year is FINALLY here! 

Seriously though, 2011 was a year of MAJOR changes for the very busy family...we went from living and working in London to packing up and leaving it all to come to the US without a job or a home. And let me tell you, that ain't easy!

For mami it means that for the first time in ten years she is not "working" in the traditional sense of the word and embarking on a new life as a work at home mama.

 And it scares the living day lights out of her! But papi and I are both here to help her...so bring it!

She found this notebook and the title just jumped out at her..."Look Closely" and that is exactly what she plans on doing. She always writes her ideas down and I'm sure she will fill this one very quickly.

We have also signed up for BlogHer's NaBloPoMo for the month of January..that means that we are committed to blogging every single day this month! And now that we share the blog, I know there will be  lots more to say.

Today we started the year off with a nice walk in woods with mami riding her bike and papi pulling me in my wagon...can't think of anything better.

We look forward to everything coming our way...like when papi finds a job, mami doing the Washington DC Rock & Roll Half Marathon in March, the day we finally get our own home, buying new things to put in our home, going to pre-school, and so much more! And we plan on sharing our experiences with you.

So thank you 2012 for finally getting here!
