Oh! It's PLAY-DOH

I looooooooove Play-Doh! In fact I love it so much I leave little pieces everywhere.

My favourite is taking all of the colours and mushing them together. Mami used to try to stop me, but she's given up.

So you can imagine my happiness when Play-Doh sent me their Three Little Pigs Fairytale creativity kit.

But if piggies aren't your thing, you can also get Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel too. Each kit comes with Play-Doh (of course!) a small play mat in that looks like a storybook, and shapes or "moulds" of the characters. In my case, we had the shapes of the three little pigs.

That way I can read the story and act it out as we go along. I have to admit, I lost most of the Play-Doh within the first few days, but now I just use any colour and it's just as fun!

And not only that but Play-Doh is workng with the National School Partnership to help create Handy Learning teacher resource packs for schools and nurseries in the UK. Cool, right?

And because we want YOU to get your hands all over some Play-Doh, they have given me one of their latest kits to giveaway.

Ready for this? Its the Twirl n' Top Pizza Shop! (£14.99)

  1. Cake decoration flowers: Let them dry out and used them on the cake. Quickly whipped them off as candles were blown out so no one would realise they were playdough and not marcipan.

  2. I love Play-Doh. My Mummy called me a weirdo once, because I was playing with my dough and I rolled the it into little balls. Then I closed my eyes and squashed the gooey dough into my eye sockets so they filled up the holes. I sat there for ages, and it was all dark because I couldn't see anything through the dough. I got a bit bored, so I tried to walk around, but Mummy wouldn't let me because she said I'd walk into a wall and hurt myself. Finally she made me peel them off my eyes. Spoilsport. So I rolled some skinny Play-Doh snakes instead, and ate them while she wasn't looking. I probably would have gotten away with it too, except I had a bright orange Play-Doh ring around my mouth.

  10. The most imaginative thing Squeaky's made with play-doh so far is a mess in the carpet! We're working on it though, step by step. I tend to make birdies, and line them up on the windowsill.

  17. Tried to make a new front room carpet once, by rolling it out and jumping on it on top of the real carpet, made a great patchwork pattern. Did not go down to well with mum, when it took ages to remove. Did I get in trouble for that.

  27. my little girl is only just coming into the age where she can play with playdoh and so far all we have experimented with are worms and various shapes made with the cutters that come with them!! She loves playing with it and I think when she gets a little bit older is going to love creating all sorts of weird and wonderful things with it.
I used to love playdoh when I was a little girl, but I tended to be quite compulsive about perfection, so everything had to be just right! Mum told me that I once made a little zoo with a whole lot of different animals....zebras, lions, tigers, monkeys and all in the right shape + colours!!!!

  28. I'm afraid the most creative I could ever be was making worms or forcing hair out of the head. I can bake, sew, write, but when it comes to making something artistically wonderful that does not involve bottle tops and cardboard boxes I am completely useless!
