How mami DIDN'T meet the cast of Glee

Papi and I have no words for what mami did today.

I really wouldn't know where to begin. It's like she was another mami, not my mami.

But don't take my word for it, watch the video and see for yourself.

  3. Little M- give your mummy a big hug, a glass of water and dont let her out of the house until she's has regained her sanity.

Fab story- loved it! Very entertaining, but very sad that after all that effort there was no 'glee-ful' ending!

  5. I would just like to say that I am not crazy, and it was supposed to be a full proof operation. I found out later they DID fly from Heathrow terminal 1 on the 2.15pm flight. Yes I was gutted, but I couldn't have spent my day wandering the airport and my nap was amazing!!! xx

  7. The people that slept at the hotel made relaxing and enjoying London impossible for the cast. Imagine not being able to go out without people demanding not asking for your time. They had schedules to keep and they boo'd them if they didn't stop. The same fans daily did this! The glee cast loves their fans and appreciates the massive support but those who stalked them in London are the reason so many extra efforts were necessary for them. Shame on those there 24/7. You ruined it for others being selfish.
Lil M your story was adorable however. Sorry you didn't meet them. Guarantee they will see this :)

  8. I can't thank you enough for stopping by and commenting! As someone who works with the media and has been an orgainser of big events and big names I do understand how demanding it is for them. Sorry I wasn't able to say this in the video, there are so many points I left out, but it would have been too long :) I had no idea about the booing and the rude comments being said to them at the Savoy, that is just unacceptable anywhere. In my mind if you got to meet them, you went home happy and that was it. At least that's what I would have done! I hadn't realised the same people stick around. (I thought these girls were the exception). Of course I wanted to see them, but I cannot tell you how happy I was to get home and see my husband and son and take a nice long nap :) Their concert live was fantastic and please let them know they have a loyal fan in me and my hubby. All the best to you and the cast on the remainder of the tour. I hope you get time off after this??
    love from London, Maria

  9. oh Maria, hopefully you will get to meet them at some point,

It would have been awesome if the Glee Mamas could have done an interview with the cast, we must represent so many mums who love Glee and it would have been great exposure for them.

I think by the sounds of it they all had a tough time over here, some fans can be so loony and its a shame they coudn't get some time to enjoy London.

I'm not sure if they did any meet and greets or public appearances with fans but perhaps they should schedule it in for next time, when i went to see Take That last week they were all for the fans and after each show would go and say hello and touch as many people as they could.

Normally the big hotels when i've had celebs staying in them they are pretty good at getting people in and out of the hotel without people recognising them, its a shame they had so much hassle and the fans that boo'd them are out of order they obviously couldn't be true fans!

At the end of the day they are young kids who have a life outside of Glee and next time they are over i think me and you should offer to show them the sights!

  10. Wow! What an adventure!!

I went to the concert as well, they were so good live - had such a fun night :)

It's a shame that the Glee casts stay in London was ruined by booing fans though, thats not the impression us Londoners want to give!

It's no surprise then that they had to rush away - I would do the same!!

I hope Glee know that London loves them though, the majority of us Glee fans do not boo or stalk :)

  11. Having to put up with a mob of overzealous fans following my every move would definitely put me off...

The show looks like it takes a lot of effort to pull off every night. I would be exhausted :) Not sure how they do it.

I hope you get to meet the cast at some point in the future. Perhaps if a few crazy fans respect their privacy a bit more then others like you might get a chance to see them occasionally!

  12. The celeb / privacy thing is a delicate subject. At the end of the day, they have chosen to perform of thousands, if not millions of people and one of the reasons behind most of their choices, is for the recognition they receive (and deserve). I tend to think of this in two different ways... when someone is travelling for work (i.e. doing live shows in London) it is perfectly reasonable for them to expect that fans want to meet them. The fans are responsible for their success and they should respect that. On the other hands, when they are travelling for personal reasons, or are out with family etc the public should respect this and give them a little space.
You can guarantee when they first started out, they would have loved the attention. Can you imagine how they felt when they signed their first autograph!
In the end, I think respect is required on both sides; the fans should respect the celebrities and vice versa.

  13. Oh my.. Little M is this what happens when I leave your mama alone in the UK while I go to the US?

Can't leave her alone for one minute!!

She and I will have to have words.

Say hello to my sister, Little L!

It's been a very long time. My days as a blogger are over (at least I think they are?) — I'm now mami's sort of photographer (I&...
