It's been exactly one week and two days since mami took off my nappy and said "No more nappy. If you have to pee pee or caca you go in the potty".
I am happy to report that I have been nappy-free ever since. There have been a few incidents but I'm over those. I know that I have to tell mami and papi when I have to go and I am very good at holding it in a little longer when I want to keep playing.
It wasn't easy. Oh no!
Mami tried to potty train me a long time ago but I really didn't want to and Fisher Price had sent me a really neat Ducky Potty.
So I tried it. I sat on it. I peed and even pooped in it, but I just didn't want to have to think about when I had to go, so I said "No potty mami" and that was that. Besides, no one likes being asked if they have to "go caca" every five minutes.
Anyway, but back to my potty tales. I am now using my Ducky Potty like a big boy. It has a music for both pee pee and caca, and if you want to use the big toilet, you know the one papi and mami use you can take the seat off and use it so you don't fall in!
So to make things easier, and to celebrate my potty success, Fisher Price has given us one Ducky Potty to giveaway!
All you have to do is:
1. Leave a comment saying "I want to win a Ducky Potty!"

Pee pee in my pants
I've been sitting on the pelela or potty for a while now. You know, just to get a feel for it.
I may have done something once or twice but I still preferred to do my pee pee and caca in my nappy.
That is until this past week. I just thought, "Bueno ya. I'll give my ducky potty a try" and that's just what I did.
Mami isn't working at the office anymore and I've been hearing her say "I'm going to take your nappy off". And guess what? Yesterday she finally did it.
I woke up and she immediately took off my nappy and put on calzoncillos or underwear. She looked at me and said "if you have to go pee pee or caca you go in the potty". I looked over at it and said "si, mami".
A little later on I felt a like I wanted to pee pee. I held it in and walked over to the potty and did pee pee there. Mami was folding laundry when I did it, so I took the potty to her and showed her I had done it. "Mami, pee pee, look!" I said, and she jumped up and said "muy bien, muy bien!"
Later that afternoon mami and I went to buy more calzoncillos and I chose the ones with cool robots on them. Before going to bed I used the potty again, and I made it through the night without wetting the bed!
Today we went out for a walk and chased a few squirrels. I was having so much fun I forgot to tell mami I had to go pee pee. Oops! I looked and saw that my trousers were all wet.
Mami said it was okay, but that I had to let her know next time. Si mami.
And then you know what she did?! She took off my clothes on the high street where EVERYONE could see me! Mami, that is so embarrassing!
So now I am going to show mami and papi what a big boy I am and use the potty more and more. I just hope mami doesn't see the puddle of pee pee I left behind my bedroom door this morning.
Sorry! I just couldn't hold it in.

My wet jeans and undies...oops! Mami has been doing a lot of laundry

Everyone poops
OKAY, I DID IT! I I have finally done caca in my Ducky potty! (and a little pee pee too)
All that noise scared me at first. I thought I had done something wrong, but I saw mami smiling and cheering me on, so I knew this is what she had been waiting for.
So of course I also joined in the celebrations and we all danced around the potty. I even did my special booty shake which is always a real crowd pleaser. Mami wouldn't stop kissing me!
But then I just stopped and stared at it. I looked up at mami and papi and said "Caca? Ewwww!"
It's actually really yucky - I mean, I've seen it before, but it really smells. I can't believe I've been sitting in that for 2 years! The things us kids have to go through. Geez.
But now, I am ready to get out of these nappies. So mami, let's get this training started and keep the dulces coming!
Mami couldn't believe it, she's been waiting almost a week for me to do it. She just flew off the sofa and starting clapping and jumping up and down saying "muy bien Little M, muy bien, hiciestes caca!/you did poop".
Papi also got up from the computer and came over to say "Good job, Little M. You are a big boy" and ran to the kitchen to get some dulces or candy as they had promised.
One of my favourite books all about poop! (but I have the one in Spanish)

P.S. Fisher Price sent me this special potty which has music and when I get bigger I can use on it on the big toilet too!

It's a Fisher-Price fiesta!
Guess what I did on Friday? I went to a very special fiesta at Earl's Court.
Fisher-Price, the people who make really cool toys had a room full of their best creations for us to play with including cars, inner tubes, bouncy chairs and even pretend food!

This chair shakes!
I think mami was more excited than I was because she got to meet up with some other mummy bloggers, like Karin from Cafe Bebe, Mirka from All Baby Advice, Jacqui from Mummy's Little Monkey, Rebecca of Two Become Four, Emma from Me the Man and Baby and other mummies she met that day.
At first, I wasn't really in the mood to play. I just hung back with mami and let her make her rounds. I know, shocker, but I was just feeling mellow.
After a little while, I made my way over to the side of all the action and watched the man with the camera take pictures. I thought he looked hungry so I brought over some cupcakes and a cup of tea for him to try. So silly, he tried to eat them, but they were plastic!
I finally got in the mood for playing - no stopping me now!
When the girls from Fisher-Price explained just how they make the toys, I sat in mami's lap on the floor and paid close attention. Can you imagine if your job was to make toys? That is what I want to do! I would just play all day long (well, I do that now, but you know what I mean!)
Okay now this was cool. It spun around and the toys flew off!
Mami has been really busy and tired lately so it was really nice to spend an entire day together.
But wait! It gets better. Mami let me walk to the tube station! Yesssssss. And then, because I was being so good, she let me actually sit on the seats on the tube. Can you believe it?! Just like a big boy! That was the best part of my day.
I got to ride the tube like a big boy!
